Contra Costa County Health Services

Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) is a comprehensive county health system dedicated to caring for and improving the health of all people in Contra Costa County with special attention to those who are most vulnerable to health problems. CCHS includes the Contra Regional Medical Center and Health Centers, the Contra Costa Health Plan, Public Health, Environmental Health, Hazardous Materials, Emergency Medical Services, Environmental health and Behavioral Health Services. Through its many divisions and programs, CCHS helps provide communities with conditions for good health, including safe drinking water, clean restaurants, control of communicable diseases, access to health care and a reliable emergency medical system. Contra Costa Health Services is an active Healthy Richmond Partner represented on both the the Healthy Richmond Steering Committee and the Richmond Health Equity Partnership. CCHS staff are also an important partner in the West Contra Costa Unified School District’s Full Service Community School effort and the provision of health services at on-site school-based health centers across the school district.
